STILL NOT SURE WHICH FOAM TO PICK?

Your first consideration should be the depth of foam you need. To decide on that, think about the space available to you within the drawer. Then, what size of tools you want to be stored in the foam. Next, pick your colour; with 10 vibrant options to choose from you can match to your own brand, or the brand of the drawers or tools, or go for something that offers more contrast.
Finally, consider if you'd rather have the ease of us making the inserts to the dimensions of your drawers for you with our Custom Foam service. Or, it's usually a little quicker and more cost-effective if you'd like to get sheets or packs of foam from our Standard range, and cut them down to size yourself. With both options you'll achieve a great custom fit insert for your Snap-On drawer.

The Cut and Peel Foam Solution to make Snap-on Toolbox Organisers

Red Shadow Foam being cut by a gloved hand
Red Shadow Foam being peeled by hand

Imagine investing in your new Snap-On tool box, then still never being able to find a tool when you need it.  Shadow Foam Snap-On tool box organisers are affordable and super easy to use. All you need to do is cut and peel - that's it. However this is far from the only benefit of our inserts. Here is what else our inserts can do for you and your tools:

Protect Your Tools

Snap-On tools are justifyably expensive, so the cost to repair or replace can be great. For that reason, keeping them protected should be a top priority, and this is exactly what our inserts are best at.

Once you've cut around the shape of your tool and peel back the foam, you're creating a space for each of your tools to keep them protected when not in use. What's more, these inserts keep any type of tool or equipment protected, whether it's a small screwdriver or a big power tool.

Organise Your Tools Exactly How You Want

Often custom made tool drawer inserts or organisers come in a pre-manufactured format. While you can somewhat organise your tools with those generic solutions, they aren't designed to your own specific requirements, so aren't going to be as efficient as something you curate yourself.

Since our Shadow Foam inserts are simply cut and peeled by you, you're in full control over the layout of your tools. This way, you decide exactly where and how to position each of your tools.

As a result, you can work more efficiently, and achieve much better and faster results on your personal or professional projects.

Easy To Clean

Polyethylene foam is inherently easy to clean, and the same applies to our Snap-On tool box inserts. Any build-up of dust or debris can be easily wiped away, making the cleaning and maintenance of your toolbox easier and less of a chore.

Resistant to UV, Water & Many Common Chemicals

A unique benefit of Polyethylene is that it's resistant to most common chemicals, UV, & water. What this means for you is that you can open up your toolbox it in almost any conditions. without worrying that your Snap-On tool box insert might lose its shape, strength, or visual appeal.

Odourless and HCFC-Free

Many Snap-On tool box organisers and ready made inserts can be made from materials that are considered toxic to the environment. Often too, these have an inherent lingering odour, which can be harmful when breathed in. These inserts are completely odourless and are HCFC-free.

Strong and Durable, Yet Still Affordable

High-quality custom-made tool box inserts are expensive. As a result, in some instances, you'd need to spend hundreds just to keep your tools and equipment safe. That all ends today - thanks to our inserts.

These Snap-On tool box inserts are not only strong and durable but they're also much more affordable. Thousands use our Shadow Foam inserts as an easy alternative to keeping their previous tools safe and protected.

Suitable For Anyone

Whether you're a contractor with thousands of pounds worth of tools or a fan of DIY projects with a Snap-On tool box in your garage or workshop, you can benefit from investing in Shadow Foam inserts. Many people neglect their toolboxes, leaving them messy and unorganised, and this can become costly in the long term.

People all over the world have transformed their drawers already, and they love it. If you're not quite ready to spend your hard-earned money on Shadow Foam inserts though, that's okay. You can order a Shadow Foam sample and try for yourself before starting your journey to tool box perfection.

FAQS

If you use the Custom Foam service, we can make to whatever size you specify to slot directly in to your Snap On tool box. Or order standard options and cut them to size yourself, whatever you prefer.

WIth our custom foam manufacture service, we can make the foam to whichever size you require.

This is really up to you, and depends what you want to store in your Snap On tool box. For smaller hand-tools you might want to go with a 30mm depth of foam which would let you cut down to a depth of around 20mm. Power tools might be better with a 50mm insert, giving you 40mm workable depth in which to cut them into the foam.

Don't worry, we have more stock arriving all the time. So if what you need for your Snap On tool box shows out of stock, it’s worth checking again at a later date. If you need something more quickly and another colour or variant won’t work for you, perhaps consider making your own insert – we created this guide to help.

Yes! When selecting from our medium sheet or custom size options for your Snap On tool box, you can mix up the colours and depths you need to suit.

Absolutely. Get a sample of Shadow Foam here.

That's OK, you can still get standard sheets that you can cut down to create your own inserts. Or we'll make the foam to your required size with our custom foam service. Just follow this video tutorial we’ve put on our YouTube channel.

Absolutely! Shadow Foam is reversible – either use the black side or the coloured side in your Snap On tool box, it’s your choice!
