I got a custom size piece for a single project, but even taking that into account, this is quite expensive per square mm, and I had some difficulty with the layers sticking a bit too well at times (most notably on deep cuts where it's hard to get a grip on anything; a slight bit less glue between layers might be able to sort this out), so I'm hard pressed to say 5 stars, but the consistent quality is admirable, I appreciate the color options, and the precision of the custom cut was right on, so this is a solid 4.5. My case was complicated fit (doesn't look like it, but there were different diameter rounded edges + a number of hidden ridges) and took a good couple hours to figure out (admittedly my first time), but the end result left me pleased!

It's a great product, but not as easy as Johnathan makes it look. Definitely makes an improvement in the look and organisation in the boxes. It's not just for tools either.

I put most of the small tools and in the 30 mm

I put most of the large tools and box in the 70mm foam

Perfect, it was exactly the dimensions I requested. The foam was square and my pistol case has round corners but that was no big deal to cut around freehand. It just now occurred to me that I could have used a circle template to scale the radius of the curve in the case and also as a guide to cut the corners perfectly, but they're close enough that I'm the only one who will ever notice and now I know what to pay attention to for the next one.

I am in the process of upgrading a number of my tools so I have not completely filled the drawer out yet but what I have done has been a joy to do and looks brilliant. I have passed on my thoughts to friends and family who have been impressed by the product and are thinking about how they can use it themselves. I plan to buy more when I get some more drawers. The size of the custom order was perfect, there is absolutely zero tolerance in what I ordered and it fits the drawer better than I thought possible. The quality of the foam itself is equally as impressive, it cuts and peals well but feels sturdy and not going to deteriorate for quite some time. the only drawback was the cost. The custom order was quite a bit more than the regular sheet despite not being much bigger but I understand with CNC offcuts and waste material this is normal as the precut sheets you can buy are very reasonable.
