Colin Furze is arguably the most ambitious and insane YouTube creator there is. Here at Shadow Foam we are all huge fans of his, so we wanted to send him an epic present. No Colin Furze creation would be complete without a certain amount of biscuits being eaten. So we sent him biscuits in foam! What we wanted to do was grab his attention, and we definitely did that!

Colin has a huge following on YouTube and Instagram. While our outreach was for a collaboration, to get on someone’s radar, especially with such a huge following, you need to do something big. Emails are all well and good, but can easily be ignored. We settled on sending a package that you can’t say no to.

After a few days we got a shout out from Colin which resulted in a huge boost for our Instagram page. Notifications kept piling in of new followers and people liking our pictures. On YouTube he liked the video which has given that a permanent place on his YouTube channel. Now his followers are pouring over to our channel through that link. It’s a win-win! He gets biscuits and we’ve got a huge boost on our social media pages and we now we’re on his radar.
