Makita Tool Organisers With Cut-and-Peel Design
The Shadow Foam Makita tool box organisers are extremely easy to use. All you need to do is place your tool over the insert and cut around it. Then, simply peel. And within seconds, you'll create a dedicated slot that'll keep that specific tool protected. But that's far from the only reason why you should use our inserts to organise your Makita toolbox. Some other reasons include:
They're Great at Absorbing Shock From Impact
Polyethylene's high ductility and low elastic modulus mean that your Makita toolbox insert can be deformed to a significant amount before it breaks. Its ability to stretch to this extent helps absorb and dissipate the energy that is generated during impact, reducing the force that is transferred onto your tools and equipment. That way, you can rest assured that as long as your tools are in the case, they will be protected during transit or in case they are dropped.
You Get to Design the Layout of Your Makita Tool Boxes
Your Shadow Foam Makita toolbox organiser will be like a blank canvas. Once installed in your toolbox, it's up to you to decide what you want your storage space to look like. This goes for all types of tools and equipment, ranging from tools as small as a screwdriver to tools as large as a power drill.
Very Easy to Keep Clean
Cleaning your toolbox from debris, dirt, and oils that have built up over time can be a nightmare. That's why most contractors and DIY-ers never clean their toolboxes to begin with. However, the second you start using our inserts, all of that will change.
The reason is that polyethylene foam is extremely easy to clean. Whether there's an oil stain or an accumulation of dust, all you need to do is take out your tools and wipe the unwanted elements away. And within just a few minutes, your toolbox will look like new.
Resistant to Water, UV Light, and Common Chemicals
Polyethylene's chemical composition and molecular structure make it a great material for repelling water, UV light, and various common chemicals. That way, whether it's raining, very warm, or the foam is exposed to common chemicals, its strength, shape, or look won't be affected. That way, you don't need to worry about damaging your inserts if you need to do your job in less-than-ideal weather conditions.
Odour & HCFC-Free
HCFCs are known to damage our environment (the ozone layer in particular). And as polyethylene is a material free of common HCFCs that are toxic to the environment, it was a no-brainer for us to use it. Another benefit of our inserts being HCFC-free is that they don't absorb or release any odour. That way, if you don't end up using your toolbox for some time, no odour will build up inside and make its way into the fabric of your tools - leaving an unpleasant lingering odour.
Strong & Durable Yet Affordable
When we first started Shadow Foam, we had two goals in mind - to create the best possible Makita toolbox organiser and to keep the price of our product within range. Besides all of the above benefits of polyethylene, the price factor was another reason why we decided to use it for our inserts. That's why our Makita toolbox inserts start at just £19.99 including VAT.

FAQS
Please note that we still can't sell you a deeper insert than what your toolbox is designed to handle. If you're looking for an organiser with a more specific length, width, and depth, your other option is to place a custom order.
As much as we'd like to offer an insert for every Makita toolbox out there, we don't as there are far too many models of Makita toolboxes. That said, we do have inserts that are designed to perfectly fit the most popular Makital tooboxes, such as the Makita makpac cases.
If you've browsed through this page and can't find a suitable insert for your Makita toolbox, don't worry. That's why we offer standard Shadow Foam sheets, which you can cut to the footprint of your toolbox. It's super easy and we have a YouTube video that will show you how to do it step-by-step.
In case you're after a much larger Makita toolbox insert, we can help you with that too. All you need to do is decide on your desired length and width and choose the depth (30mm, 50mm, or 70mm), and we'll create a custom insert for your Makita toolbox.
Resistant to water, common chemicals, and ultraviolet light

Very flexible, allowing the insert to be bent without breaking
Free from HCFCs and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
Completely odourless
Our Makita toolbox organisers come in various depths, including 30mm and 50mm. That way, you can use them to store anything from small screwdrivers to larger power drills. Please note that if you're looking to buy an insert for a specific model of Makita toolbox, the insert will only come in the depths that your specific toolbox can handle.
