Acuerdo de patrocinio de fútbol de varios años
An exciting move for us and our local area. Up-and-coming local non-league side 1874 Northwich have just entered into a multi-year home kit sponsorship deal with us here at Shadow Foam.
The side are in pre-season training. This comes ahead of the start of their 2023-24 campaign in the Pitching In Northern Premier League West. The side travelled to Shadow Foam HQ in neighbouring Anderton and revealed their new kit just this week.
1874 supporter and volunteer Ashley Dobell said of the move.
“Shadow Foam are a hugely ambitious business, with whom we are looking at building a strong relationship with over the next few years”.
The newly designed first-team home shirt will also feature back-of-shirt sponsorship from FundMyPitch.com, an innovative business funding organisation.
About the 1874 Northwich Partnership
1874 Chairman Stephen Richardson said.
“The club is immensely grateful to both Shadow Foam and FundMyPitch for the support and confidence that they have shown in 1874 Northwich, and we look forward to working closely with both organisations in promoting their business to a wider audience within the North West footballing community.”
It’s been a big move for our family business Shadow Foam. We have also recently opened the not-for-profit community-inspired business Northwich Makerspace on a neighbouring unit.
Owner Jonathan Shone said of the partnership.
“There seems to be a great synergy between ourselves and 1874. We’re less than half a mile away from one another. Also we both celebrated our ten year anniversaries back in November last year. I’m a big football fan, as are most of my staff, with most of us living locally too. Just like our own business, the club are vibrant and ambitious. They are just the sort of community club we want to be aligned with”
With that community spirit in mind, exciting plans are afoot. Both are looking for how this innovative business can work together with the club in the seasons ahead. The pre-season kit and sponsorship launch has already pitched some of the teammates against one another in a unique custom-made “Stick the Spot” challenge. A video of the results is set to be launched on Shadow Foam’s popular Youtube channel this week.
Jonathan used some Shadow Foam to concoct a fiendishly hard shot-on-target type game. This really put the 1874 Northwich lads to the test. The ensuing video will be one to watch for both opponents and fans of the side, eager to get a glimpse into the 1874’s pre-season fitness. Mark Jones, Jack Marrow and Matty Fenton took on the brutally difficult challenge alongside 1874 kit man Andy Williams. Watch out for that video coming soon!
