We Raised £1,169 for Breast Cancer Awareness!!

The final bid came in at an incredible £1,169.00 and every single penny will be donated directly to Breast Cancer Awareness charities, supporting vital research and patient care.

This project started as a bold challenge: to confront the outdated “pink tool disease” stereotype, where inferior tools are often marketed in pink to target women, while raising money for a cause close to our hearts. Our MD, Jonathan Shone, saw an opportunity to prove that high-quality tool foam inserts and toolbox foam inserts can come in pink without compromising performance.

“I work with incredibly skilled women in the trades every day,” said Jonathan. “They deserve access to the same premium tools as anyone else. We wanted to build a pink toolkit using only the best – one that would stand up on any site, backed by precision-cut tool foam for ultimate organisation and protection.”

The result? A professional-grade toolkit valued at around £2,000, featuring top-tier brands like Wera, Snap-on, Mac Tools, and Teng, with custom plastidipped components for a flawless pink finish. Every tool was carefully selected and organised using our signature tool foam inserts, ensuring durability, accessibility, and that satisfying Shadow Foam fit.

We documented the entire build on our YouTube channel – from sourcing rare components to the final assembly – and partnered with leading female creators including Ruth Amos (Kids Invent Stuff), Nerdforge, and Daisy Tempest, reaching a combined audience of nearly 4 million subscribers.
