Unique Cut-and-Peel Festool Storage Tool Organisers
There isn't a product quite like our Festool tool organisers. Here are some of the key benefits our unique Festool toolbox inserts have to offer:
Protect Your Tools From Getting Damaged
The Germany-based tool manufacturer Festool is known for producing some of the highest-quality tools on the market, which aren't cheap to repair or replace. So, if you want to make the most of them, it's wise to ensure that they are secure and protected.
When you use our Festool inserts, each of your tools will have its place. As a result, during vehicle transport, they won't rattle inside the toolbox and make contact with each other, which will prevent them from getting damaged. And by the way, this goes for all of your tools, regardless of whether it's a screwdriver or a power drill.
Lay Out Your Tools The Way You Want To
The large majority of Festool organisers give you little to no control over how you get to lay out your tools inside your toolbox. That's not the case with our Festool inserts. When you receive your insert, you will be the one who decides how and where each of your tools will be stored.
To do that, you need to lay the tool where you want it to be stored and cut into the foam around the shape of the tool. Then, all you need to do is peel back the shape you've just cut out and put your tool in its custom-made slot. That way, not only will each of your tools have a proper place in your toolbox, but you'll save a ton of time as you will know exactly where to find each one of your tools.
Water, Chemical, & UV Resistant
Since all Shadow Foam inserts and sheets are made of 100% polyethylene, they are great at repelling water, chemicals, and ultraviolet light. The reason for that is because polyethylene's chemical composition and molecular structure greatly contribute to its resistance to various environmental factors.
The benefit of that is obvious - you can use your toolbox and keep your tools protected in a variety of weather conditions. What's more is that the foam and the cutouts for your tools won't lose their shape, feel, or look if it rains or if the insert is exposed to chemical or UV light while you're working away.
Easy to Maintain & Keep Clean
If you've owned a Festool storage box for a while, you'll know how messy and dirty it can get over time. What's more is that keeping your toolbox clear of any mess, especially when your tools aren't organised can be a time-consuming process, which is why some people don't bother to clean their toolbox at all.
When you make use of our Festool organiser, keeping your toolbox clean and presentable is extremely easy. When you notice that your inserts are due for a clean, take your tools out, and simply wipe away the dust and debris. It's as easy as that.
HCFC-Free & Completely Odourless
Polyethylene is composed solely of hydrogen and carbon atoms and lacks common HCFCs, such as chlorine and fluorine, which are renowned for being toxic to our environment. As a result of that, polyethylene doesn't release the above-mentioned compounds during production, use, and disposal, making it a great environmentally-friendly choice of organiser for your toolbox.
What's more, is that the lack of volatile compounds in polyethylene also makes our inserts completely odourless. In other words, you no longer have to deal with the toxic and lingering smells that build up inside your toolbox when it's not in use.

FAQS
In terms of depth, our Festool toolbox organisers are available in 30mm and 50mm. That way, whether you plan on storing screwdrivers or bulkier tools like power drills, you can easily keep them perfectly protected, regardless of their size or shape.
Please note that while we do have inserts for most Festool toolbox models, we might not hold stock for all of them. That's not a problem though, as you can easily get a standard Shadow Foam sheet, which comes in 30mm, 50mm, and 70mm depth and cut it to the footprint of your specific Festool case or drawer.
The Shadow Foam Festool inserts are extremely durable. This is largely because our inserts are made of 100% polyethylene, which is widely known for its excellent resistance to wear and tear and ability to endure impact. On a chemical level, polyethylene has a closed-cell structure, which provides a high level of resilience, ultimately preventing the foam from breaking down easily over time.
Besides being able to handle impact, polyethylene also offers resistance to most common chemicals, ultraviolet light, and water, further contributing to the longevity of your Festool organisers. If you read through the reviews that our customers have left about our Festool inserts, you'll get a better idea of what you can expect in terms of quality and longevity.
To do that, simply place each of your tools on the insert, and cut around it. Then, peel off the shape that you've just cut around. And just like that, your tools now have their own dedicated place in your Festool toolbox.
Yes, they are. According to our own testing and customer reviews, our Festool toolbox organisers do an excellent job in wet or abnormally humid conditions. The reason why our Shadow Foam inserts are so good at resisting water is because of the material they're made out of - 100% polyethylene.
We won't go all sciency on you, but in most basic terms, polyethylene has a different molecular structure to water. Water is a polar molecule, and is attracted to other polar molecules. Polyethylene, on the other hand, has a non-polar molecular structure, meaning it'll naturally repel water rather than absorb it.
As a result, any contact that your shadow foam insert makes with water will be rejected rather than absorbed - keeping your insert dry. In other words, when the insert comes into contact with water, it won't turn into a soft sponge that ends up holding water.
If you are unable to find an insert that would suit the footprint of your specific toolbox, that's not a problem. We offer standard Shadow Foam sheets, which you can cut to the unique dimensions of your tool case. Don't worry - it'll look just as good.
