Case Study - how Dent Devils organise and protect their repair tools

Dent Devils are widely known as the UK’s most trusted dent repair company. So when they wanted to organise their tools as part of their tool management strategy we were only too happy to help.

Many of us will have used or seen Dent Devils them over the years, so you might know that they specialise in paintless dent repair. They’ve been in business for over 20 years, with a focus on training their personnel to ‘Master Technician’ level, ensuring the very best levels of service.

The Problem

Dent Devils told us that their repair tools are extremely expensive. As technicians are mobile there is a significant risk of damaging the tools in transit between jobs. The tools are also in a variety of shapes so neat storage was also a problem. Plus implementing a tool control and tool management system with a product like Shadow Foam ensures that nothing gets left behind between jobs

The Solution

Steve Lamb – Dent Devils Operations Manager initially decided to kit out his own tools with Shadow foam. This is what he had to say;

“I wanted to organise all of my expensive dent removal tools in a protective case. Shadow Foam was perfect and the quality of the completed liners were amazing!”

You can see just how good their tools look in the gallery below.

Check out this video to see how easy it is to get organised with Shadow Foam. This Dent Devils project was made with our now discontinued Shadow Foam Original grade of foam. But our newer grade has all the same properties to organise tools but with lots more additional benefits including a range of colours, cleanability and durability.
